A quick and easy read that changed the way that I cook and purchase groceries. There are some prickly bits that will be convicting for many (ie Alice’s stance that no one has a right to having avocados available to them year round and that we need to accept this fact post haste) but it’s a life changing book for anyone that cares about cooking, food, farming or sustainability.
