The main downside of loving cooking is that it has turned me into a certified Restaurant Grinch ™️. I am skeptical of most new restaurants because I hate waiting in line and fear being disappointed. Barra Santos made my heart grow a few sizes. They have an excellent happy hour (10 dollar martinis and 15 dollar Bifana sandwiches!!) and the dinner service was wonderful. We got the Bifana (a pork coppa sandwich), the Piri Piri Chicken, tuna crudo and the Iberico Ham. If you’re feeling brave, or just want some something different to sip on, try the Ginja. It’s a Portuguese cherry liqueur that I will be adding to my home bar!
